Born from the union of a Seraphim and a humanoid, they find they have little place anywhere. While they are not technically outcast from the heavens, they can sense that their lack of abilities is a disappointment to their brethren. On the other hand, they find that the humans look upon them with fear and awe, often thinking of them as Gods themselves. The less morally certain will sometimes take advantage of that reverence, but most find it unsettling. Their immortality also poses a difficulty when it comes to love, as watching those around them die so quickly makes those oh-so-deep bonds nearly unbearable.
Due to their discomfort with both planes of existence, some Elyssians are less patient than others. Some are downright dour and unpleasant. On the flipside, however, there are many that feel that they are ambassadors for their fathers, and treat all with patience and kindness.
Two great, white, feathery wings sprout from these beautiful beings' shoulders, spanning double their height. These wings appear as heavy as those of the Winged Elves, but are actually weightless. They do take up space, however, and are completely tangible. Important to note, if an Elyssian's wings are removed, they will instantly become mortal and bleed to death if immediate intensive care is not provided. Aside from this, they are the vivid expression of humanity, with brightly colored, jewel tone eyes and a soothing presence making them stand out in a crowd. Their names, skin tone, hair color, and general appearances vary depending on the humanoid parent's heritage.
Half elves are usually the product of a forbidden love between an elf and a human. They are looked down upon by the elves as bastards that should be killed, and are Looked down on by humans because they are often more beautiful then the human race. These people tend to be reclusive in either society, and it is common for them to be wanderers so they do not have to deal with the stares from other people. Shunned by both the elves and the humans, these castoffs are often brooding and uncomfortable around anyone, having little reason to trust. They are not, however, generally ill-tempered or angry, instead spending their time proving themselves as worthy in the eyes of their family.
Depending on who raises them, their names can be either human or elven. Similar to Humans, they can have most mundane eye colors, though their hair is usually lighter on the average. Giving away their mixed heritage are a pair of lightly pointed ears not long enough to be full-elven, slightly slanted almond-shaped eyes, and an almost ethereal beauty. Their delicate features often become their despair, however, because of the reminder of their cursed existence. Though they range in height from 4'9" to 6'3", they are always lighter than their human counterparts, with a maximum overall weight of 170 pounds.
The Half giant was created more then 5,000 years ago. The wizard Marn'ka wanted to make a super-soldier to guard his home, but what he came up with was the half giant. These beings started out to serve him, but then realized that he was oppressing them, barely feeding them, and treating them as though they were his slaves. They quickly broke away from this, killing Marn'ka and destroying his home into nothing more then ashes. They moved on, roaming from town to town looking for a place to call home, but never finding one. They now roam the country side, living as nomads and barbarians on the plains of Seregon. A few have been hired by cities as protectors, and some also have been hired by warlords as shock troopers with in their armies.
Similar to Humans, they have generic hair, eye, and skin tones. Other than being outrageously tall at 8 to 12 feet, these behemoths have no special features. Weighing 400 to 600 pounds, they make bartenders nervous around their floors, let alone their chairs.
Born of war, torture, and violent rape, it is difficult to understand how they came to be in the first place. Most women are left bleeding and half dead after a raid, so only those humans who have excellent physical endurance and an excellent healer nearby tend to live long enough to give birth. Those that live often try many things to rid themselves of what they consider a demon in the making, but ultimately some live, and are either raised by a haunted mother, or orphaned, or even just abandoned.
Cast out from both the human and Orc societies, no Half-Orc seems to be able to keep a smile on his face. Rage often leads to hatred, and many times their fury has proved fatal, either to themselves or others, in fits that rival the Orcs themselves.
Any human or orc name, depending on which parent raises them. Similar to Humans, they can have most mundane eye colors, such as brown, blue, green, or gray. Reddish colors are also quite common due to their Orcish heritage. Their hair is also of human coloration, though their skin tones range from a mottled yellow to a deep olive green. Similar to their Orcish relatives, these bestial humanoids have small tusks, approximately 2 to 5 inches long, protruding from their lower jaw toward their upper jaw. They range in height from 5 1/2 to 7 feet tall, and 150 to 300 pounds.
The result of the mating of a Fiend and a humanoid, they are exiles (forced or self-inflicted). Often they are raised by a single parent, and no matter how they are treated they feel like outsiders. In the Abyss, they are continuously treated like children, regardless of power or age, simply because they can never be as powerful as those around them. With their humanoid families, many feel uneasy around them, even if they look "normal", because of the aura that surrounds them. Obviously, both treatments can make an unpleasant impression on one, and they often become loners, solitary creatures who depend on nothing but their own two hands - and their ability to lie with a straight face - to survive. Trust is not an easy thing to gain from a Tiefling, though once given is not easily removed.
Some have wings or tails, even horns. Something will always give away their demonic heritage, whether it be their odd eyes, a smell of brimstone, or a physical oddity. Most have pointed elf-like ears, and all have an eerie aura that frightens animals and makes other sentient beings uncomfortable around them. Their skin can be like any other humans, but is often ash-grey or even black. Their eyes, too, give them away, their depths often firey or a flat, lifeless black, like charcoal. Aside from their oddities, they are shaped and sized much the same as an elf or human.
